Surnames found in my direct line

This one is pretty obvious. It is my family name. So far, we have found 7 generations of O'Donnells. The earliest known O'Donnell in my line is my great-great-grandfather, Edward O'Donnell. To see a list of his known descendants click here.

My mother's maiden name. So far, I have found information on 4 generations of Lagans before me, from my great-great-grandfather, John Lagan, down to my mother, Margaret Mary Lagan. There is a list of the known descendants of John Lagan here.

My paternal grandmother was Agnes Mulholland Wotherspoon, and my 3G-GF was Hugh Wotherspoon. A list of his known descendants may be found here.

My maternal grandmother was Winnifred Ethel Brady. We have compiled a good list of Bradys (about 6 generations so far). Michael Brady (my great-great-grandfather) was my earliest known ancestor to be born in Canada. You can find a list of his known descendants here.

My dad's paternal grandmother was Ellen Coal. She was listed as Ellen Cole on my grandfather's record of birth, but on my uncle George's she was listed as Helen Coll. According to her record of marriage, her father's name was George Coal.

We have two different spellings of the "Steel" name. My dad's maternal grandmother was Mary Steel. Her paternal grandfather (my 3G-GF) was Aaron Steele. To see a list of his known descendants, go here.

My mom's paternal grandmother was Bridget O'Neill. Her father was Charles O'Neill. A list of his known descendants is also here.

My mom's maternal grandmother was Margaret Winnifred McGee. If you have ever studied Canadian History, you will probably recognize the name Thomas D'Arcy McGee, a relative of mine. We haven't yet verified exactly what relation I am to him, but the best guess we have is that he was a first cousin to John McGee, my g-g-grandfather.

My GG-GM was Biddy (possibly Bridget) Meally. Try to keep up with me on this one. She would be my paternal grandfather's paternal grandmother.

My GG-GM was Agnes Guthrie. She was my paternal grandmother's paternal grandmother. Andrew Guthrie (her father) was my 3G-GF.

My GG-GM was Agnes Mulholland. She was my paternal grandmother's maternal grandmother.

My GG-GM was Mary Doherty. She was my maternal grandfather's paternal grandmother.

My GG-GM was Catherine Kerlin. She was my maternal grandfather's maternal grandmother.

Harriet Bennett, my GG-GM was the second of my ancestors to be born in Canada. She was my maternal grandmother's paternal grandmother.

Winnifred Muldoon, and her father Edward Muldoon, were my GG-GM (my maternal grandmother's maternal grandmother) and my 3G-GF respectively.

Agnes Malloch was my 3G-GM.

Jean Stirling was another of my 3G-GMs.

Jean Wilson was yet another of my 3G-GMs.

Mary McMeehan was still another of my 3G-GMs.

Prudence McMullen was my 3G-GM. Her nephew (my 1st cousin 4 times removed) was Bishop John McMullen, the first bishop of Davenport Iowa.

My 3G-GM was Bridget Kennedy, and her father (my 4G-GF) was Patrick Kennedy.

My 4G-GM was Anne Lamb, and her father (my 5G-GF) was Charles Lamb. A list of his known descendants can be found here.
